Recharge by the fjord
Welcome
Wake to still water and a wide, pale sky. Spend the day between warm wood and cold fjord air, and the evening by the fire, watching the light change over the water.
It is quiet here. The days are measured by the tide and the weather, with nothing to plan and nowhere to be.
Badstue · Sauna
Heat, cold water, rest
Let the heat settle deep, then step out into the cold air and under the shower on the deck. Wrap up, sit still and watch the fjord. Then go again, as many times as you like.

Huset · The house
Fire, warmth and the view
Inside, everything slows down. A fire crackling by the table and the fjord in view from every room. Cook something slow, run a deep bath, or simply sit and watch the weather roll in across the water.

Bevegelse · Movement
Move, then rest
A private gym, all yours. Lift, stretch, roll out a yoga mat or simply move at your own pace in the morning light, with the fjord in view. Then walk down to the sauna and let it all go.
Naturen · Nature
Eagles, deer and the fjord
The fjord changes by the hour, from glass to silver to storm. Sea eagles glide along the shore most days, and in winter deer wander across the snow outside.

Nordlys · Northern lights
When the sky comes alive
From late autumn to early spring, on clear and cold nights, the northern lights can ripple across the sky above the fjord. Wrap up warm, step out onto the deck and look up.
Photographed just outside the house.
